MIT’s Technology Review - Online & Offline Uses of Digital and Custom Publishing
Posted in Case Studies
MIT’s Technology Review partnered with Zinio to produce a co- branded USB drive as a gift to attendees of the MIT Emerging Technologies Conference in September 2007. This annual event attracts over a thousand influential members of the technology community - business leaders, innovators, venture capitalists, and senior technologists. All attendees were sent a link to the conference program in Zinio format in the weeks leading up to the event, and many interested attendees visited the Zinio booth at the conference, where they saw product demos and had their questions answered. After the event, attendees were sent USB devices loaded with the Zinio’s offline reading product and digital versions of the conference program and the September issue of Technology Review. Response has been positive, with many singling out Zinio’s eco-friendliness as a key attribute.
